Conclusion
As we come out of the major effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, our results are slowly returning to previous levels as students go to local businesses once again. While most of these categories have been featured in previous years, thrift shopping has seen a spike in patronage from college students. This may be due to internet trends promoting thrift shopping combined with a want for new outfits to wear when going to social events. Another theory is that thrift shopping offers students fashionable clothing options at lower prices than department stores, making them favorable for students.
We would like to recognize the following students for their significant contributions to the 2022 U Choose Awards. Not only did they conduct our yearly research project, which is challenging enough, but they also worked together to improve the SEO of this website and develop a social media marketing strategy for our club.
